One of the main goals of the telemarathon is to attract donations. They are collected through UNITED24 (u24.gov.ua) platform founded by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
The funds raised during the telemarathon will be transferred to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to purchase modern X-ray equipment to help surgeons operate on the injured.
The event will be opened by Zelensky, and both popular Ukrainian and world-famous artists will perform at the concert. The concert will feature, for example, Eurovision winners and participants from Ukraine: “Kalush Orchestra”, as well as singer Ruslan, Vera Serduchka, Yamala, as well as Konchita Wurst. Also Malik Harry, S10 and others.
The stage where the concert takes place in Amsterdam is also interesting. It is white, symbolizing purity and unity, but the screen shows a beating heart, symbolizing every Ukrainian, everyone fighting for their country and everyone who has had to flee.
