The events of the Silver Spruce show unfold in the forest, when the fairy announces a special spruce beauty contest to choose the most beautiful forest inhabitant. The cheerful squirrels, the bunny and the wolf-vegetarian help to discover that the most beautiful ornament is care and attention for those around you, especially for those who feel lonely or experience difficulties during the holidays.
The director of the show, Arnita Jaunzeme, together with the creative team – the artist Anita Znutiņa-Ševi, the composer Imantas Pauras, the author of the arrangements Silvestras Zemgala, the lighting artist Uldi Anderson and the lyricist Daina Strēlēvica – wanted to create a story that would reveal the secret of the Christmas miracle even to the youngest viewers – only if true joy can be born together and sharing. Actors Lienīte Osipova, Artūrs Putniņš and Anrijs Sirmais help the characters in the play to discover this joy.
