During a robbery he shoots and injures the owners of a bar, arrested

(ANSA) – MILAN, MAY 11 – The Police arrested a 49-year-old Albanian accused of attempted murder, aggravated robbery and illegal possession of a semi-automatic pistol. The man apparently carried out a robbery last May 4th in a bar in Via Costantino Baroni, in Milan, shooting several times and slightly injuring the two managers of the place. The loot was ‘scratch cards’ with a total value of around 15 thousand euros. The investigations were carried out by the Flying Squad, coordinated by the VII Department of the Prosecutor’s Office. The 49-year-old had the owners, father and daughter aged 67 and 31, as they closed the bar around 9pm and, in an attempt to take possession of the proceeds and tickets, he had shot in the direction of the entrance door, beyond which they had taken refuge the victims. Father and daughter had been grazed, suffering injuries that healed in 3 and 7 days. Then, on May 6, the man attempted to carry out another robbery, still armed with a gun, in a grocery store in Via Feraboli. The agents tracked down the Albanian last Thursday precisely in via Baroni, after a series of investigations also through the analysis of the fingerprints present on the door of the bar. The man had with him a semi-automatic pistol, 13 cartridges and a 22 centimeter long switchblade knife. (HANDLE).
