The president of Colombia, Iván Duque, today visited the militarized border that divides the Korean peninsula in two as part of his state visit to South Korea, as confirmed by diplomatic personnel to Efe.
The president was received at Camp Bonifas, located a few hundred meters from the divide, by Paul J. LaCamera, commander of the United States Forces in Korea (USFK), the combined US-South Korean forces and the Command of United Nations, of which Colombia is a part.
