Armand Duplantis made history in the pole vault setting an Olympic Games record and a world record with 6.25m. that passed

The Swedish pole vaulter celebrated his Olympic victory by imitating the coolest shooter, Turkey’s Yusuf Dikets.

Dickets, who with teammate Sevval Ilayda Tarhan won the silver medal in the mixed team 10m air pistol event at the Olympics, went viral for his seemingly relaxed demeanor while shooting.

The 51-year-old Turk competed in the final of the 10m air pistol medley, stood his ground without any special protective equipment or aiming aids and… effortlessly won the silver medal.

As was natural, Dikets’ cinematic presence drove the internet “crazy”, with the 51-year-old becoming one of the faces of the Paris Olympics.

This is Dikets’ 5th appearance at the Olympic Games, having made his debut in 2008 in Beijing, with the 51-year-old celebrating his first medal in Paris.

In the meantime, the flying Swede won the gold yesterday (05.08.2024) and then broke his own world record with an incredible 6.25m.

Armand Duplantis, in addition to his impressive performances, also stood out for the way he celebrated the gold, imitating the Turkish shooter who has been etched in everyone’s memory for his viral style.
