The rich Henk Jan and Linda live in Spain and have a large villa in Marbella. Noemi’s family looks forward to their arrival in Spain. Henk Jan and Linda, on the other hand, exchange their luxury life for a small expenditure of 80 euros per week. They also exchange their villa for a smaller house in Heerhugorwaard. What the couple noticed the most was that the kitchen is not finished in the house and there is no running water. Noemi and her four daughters always washed the dishes in the bathroom, because there was no money for finishing the kitchen. Henk Jan and Linda decided to change this and gave Noemi and her family a kitchen as a gift.
Noemi could not believe her eyes when she returned home. “I didn’t expect that,” she said, emotionally. “What wonderful people say,” says Noemi about Henk Jan and Linda. “They took so much stress away from me,” she adds.
