Last weekend, a million dollar lottery prize once again gave someone a reason to celebrate in Hungary’s most famous lottery game: a lucky person won HUF 6,613,905,020 in the five-lotto. This year, this is already the third blow, and the last example was a quarter of a century ago. According to the announcement of Szerencsejáték Zrt., it is also rare that there are two top prizes in one year, the last time a lucky person won HUF 6.5 billion.

In the case of prizes higher than 300 million a Summary Zrt. keeps a great winning line apart. When the winning player signs in on the phone, the lottery company employee is responsible for making sure, based on the ticket data, that he is actually talking to the winner.
