Two men carrying hard drugs jumped into the ditch at the Admiralengracht in West this afternoon during an escape attempt. The two were taken out of the water and detained there.

According to the police, the men thought they were being seen by police officers. They then immediately took off and jumped into the water from Admiralengracht. There they discharged the narcotics they had previously carried.
The officers took the men out of the water and arrested them along the side. It is not known exactly which hard drugs the two carried.
