Dunkirk hospital had to deal with the Covid-19 epidemic. More than 600 patients with the virus have been taken care of. It was not an easy year, but one which forced the Dunkirk health establishment to innovate and develop digital technology much faster than expected.
Among other things, the patient admission process has been simplified. Two million euros have been invested to modernize the biology platform. A new latest generation scanner. The arrival of new doctors. The CHD, which wants to continue its modernization with a new satisfaction questionnaire translated into FALC (Easy to read and write). Renovation of premises in the pediatric department.
2021, it is especially vaccination which is at the heart of the challenges. More than 1,000 people vaccinated since the start of the campaign. The hospital hoping for the arrival of new vaccines and devices to speed up vaccination.
This new year will also be marked by the arrival of a new director at the head of the Dunkirk hospital. Yves Marlier, who was director of the Boulogne sur Mer hospital last year. He will take up his post on March 8.
