Dungeons & Dragons publishers abandon plans to change license – Creative Commons publishes more documents

What were we generally guided by when we launched the process of these changes?

We wanted to protect the D&D format and the experience players get. And we still want to achieve this goal – with your help. We are very grateful to the community for the activity and love for the game, and we will need your help to ensure that the very essence of this game – accessible and attractive to everyone – does not change.

We wanted to limit the use of OGL to tabletop RPGs. But now we are moving away from that approach and will rely on your input to determine what the future of the game will be.
