The film’s filming process witnessed the details of using the desert landscape in Abu Dhabi as a filming location for the famous sand planet “Arrakis”, where the dunes play an essential role, to be the natural simulation of “Arrakis”. The scenes of the second part of the film were filmed in more than 20 locations in the Liwa Desert during the winter of 2022, and the film makers used a team of 300 staff in the Emirates, 250 international crew, and 500 additional people, during the filming, which lasted 27 days.
