Invited to comment on the political situation in the country and the formation of an official cabinet with Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, the former Deputy Minister of Agriculture, politician and diplomat Meglena Plugchieva did not neglect the desire of Kiril Vatev to remain as Minister of Agriculture.

In the morning block of bTV, Plugchieva explained that she monitors the agricultural sector and therefore “I would immediately recommend a definite replacement of Mr. Vatev, because the sector is almost in a situation of liquidation, of death. Let’s not go back to the many protests that took place.“

Plugchieva continued, indignant that at the moment when we are celebrating the Week of the Forest, not a single minister has planted a single tree. She recalled that during Saxe-Coburg Gotsky’s rule 20 years ago, in April, Georgi Parvanov as President, Simeon Saxe-Coburg Gotsky as Prime Minister and Mehmed Dikme as Minister of Agriculture created the grove next to the television. “It was politics“, she said.

„Ironically, during the Forest Week, the finance minister proposed that the state-owned forestry enterprises be converted into joint-stock companies. This means the threat of bankruptcy, liquidation. We have the bitter experience with “Irrigation Systems”. This is an encroachment on one of the most valuable resources of our country, which provides ecology, water, air…” According to her, the transformation of state enterprises will lead to privatization or concessions, which will be fatal for our forests. And forests are created in a time horizon of 120-150 years, explained Plugchieva.

Alexander Dunchevwho had to comment on the demolition of the illegally built luxury hunting hotel of Rumen Gaitanski, known as the Wolf, in the hunting farm “Iskar”, also put Kiril Vatev in focus.

Again this morning, Dunchev – a well-known environmentalist and executive director of the Forestry Executive Agency under Kiril Petkov, described the schemes in which some of the richest people in the country have settled in all the hunting farms in the country. According to him, it is these people who appoint the heads of hunting farms through the Minister of Agriculture. He believes that the forest officials are the basis of the recapture of the country from the feudal lords who rule it behind the scenes, although this is not visible to the Bulgarians.

Dunchev gave an example of the changes in the management of state enterprises and hunting farms during the changes of power. In particular, he told how the head of the Iskar hunting farm was appointed. And concluded: “This means that the head of the Minister of Agriculture is not Denkov, not Gabriel, not Borisov, not Asen Vasilev, not Kiril Petkov, but the Wolf. This is what the facts show!“

Alexander Dunchev stated that these are the public facts and that he could tell “an awful lot” of non-public facts, but in doing so he would risk jeopardizing the positions of certain people.

He also spoke out against the transformation of state-owned enterprises into commercial companies and explained that together with Meglena Plugchieva and others, they sent a letter to the Minister of Finance, explaining to him that this would be a big mistake.
