Like about that we have written before, the roof structure and annex of a family house caught fire early Sunday morning in Ipolydamásd. The family raising three minor children lost almost everything in the fire. For the time being, parents and children can temporarily move into a service apartment offered by the municipality of Ipolydamásd. A lot of people have moved since Sunday. We learned that enough clothes had arrived and the furniture had also arrived in the service apartment.
In response to our question, István Fónagy said that, in consultation with Deputy Mayor Csaba Németh, the biggest help for the family at the moment would be the offering of non-perishable food and toiletries. This can also be rented in Vác at Budapest Fő út 36 at the Fónagy and Walter Guest House and Borház. István Fónagy said that the donations collected here will be delivered to the family within 2-3 days.
In the local group called Váci Élet, as well as for our previous article, many comments and offers were received. A range of cupboards, a fridge, 1,500 pots, and children’s clothes are recommended by the well-intentioned and helpful residents of the area.
