Nivin Pauly’s personal make-up man Shabu Pulpally’s untimely death. Actors like Dulquer Salman, Aju Varghese, Antony Varghese and Geethu Mohandas paid tributes.
Shabu, who had been working with Niv for 10 years, was Niv’s right hand man. He was also a favorite among filmmakers.
Dulquar’s post is a tribute to Shabu as well as comforting Nivin and his family.
” I share the grief of Shabu’s family. I still have fond memories of working with him in Bangalore Days and Vikramaditya. May his family have the strength to bear this loss. Aju Varghese recalled Shabu: “Shabu Etta … I could not pay the debt … I have not forgotten .. A thousand apologies .. Nthina Etta, go like this …”.
Shabu hails from Wayanad. Makeupman Shaji Pulpally is his brother. The accident happened when the star fell from a tree while hanging. The cause of death was internal bleeding. He was rushed to hospital but could not be saved.
