Suara.com – Digital wallet Dana cooperate with the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) to facilitate the know your customer (KYC) verification process.
With this, verification of being a premium Dana user becomes faster and more accurate. This step is also carried out for data security and user convenience in transactions as well as efforts to prevent digital crimes.
Vincent Iswara as CEO and Co-Founder of Dana said that data security and transaction convenience will always be DANA’s priority. One of the efforts made includes equipping with the latest technology in KYC verification.
“We continue to strengthen the security system, including by implementing a zero data sharing policy, adopting international standard systems such as ISO 27001:2013 and PCI-DSS certification, and collaborating with Dukcapil for the verification process for user data,” Vince said in a press release received on Monday. “Funds also do not stop encouraging and educating users to carry out the KYC verification process. This is because there are still Fund users who have not done KYC even though the benefits are enormous,” he added.
By performing KYC connected to Dukcapil, the user’s demographic data will not be stored in the Fund but connected to Dukcapil for verification purposes. Users do not need to worry that their personal data will be misused by irresponsible parties.
In addition, by performing KYC, users will become premium users who can optimally take advantage of the advantages and benefits of the technology developed by Dana.
The features of premium Dana users that can be enjoyed are adding balance (top up) up to Rp. 10 million, making transfers or cash withdrawals, as well as other special offers.
Director General of Dukcapil Zudan Arif Fakrulloh said cooperation with the Fund in terms of granting access rights to verify the use of population data in accordance with the mandate of Article 79 and Article 58 of Law No. 24/2013 concerning Amendments to Law No. 23/2006 on Population Administration (UU Law No. Admin).
