Manolo Portanova Italian police arrested for being involved in a rape case. Academy dropout Juventus it is now under house arrest status.
TGR RAI Toscana reported on Thursday (10/6/2021) evening local time, Portanova was one of three defendants under house arrest. It is not stated who the other two people are, but they are said to be relatives of Portanova.
The three allegedly raped a 22-year-old woman together at a private party at a house in Siena some time ago. But Portanova was only arrested while on vacation in Messina.
Portanova planned to be interrogated on Monday (14/6). Two other people are reported to have undergone investigations, in which one of them admitted the relationship was consensual, but the other refused to answer.
The three are known to have asked to be released from house arrest, but the public prosecutor refused. The investigation is also continuing, seeking information from people who were present at the party. In addition, the cellphones of those present were also checked.

This action is clearly tarnishing the name Portanova, who is building a career at Genoa after being released Juventus for 10 million euros in January 2021.
