Recently, artist name Nikita Mirzani back into the public spotlight, Mother. This time, he came under fire after a video of him went viral on social media.
Initially, Nikita uploaded the video on her TikTok account, Mother. After that, the content was re-shared by several Twitter accounts, one of which was Haji Umar Syadat Hasibuan.
Indeed, in the video Nikita Mirzani is seen reciting the intention to pray maghrib. However, his actions were deemed inappropriate.
“Ushalli fardhol maghribi tsalaatsa rak’aatin mustaqbilal qiblati aada’an lillaahi ta’ala. Takbir!” said Nikita Mirzani, followed by laughter.
It was Nikita Mirzani’s expression and way of reading it that was later protested. The woman who is familiarly called Nyai is considered to be playing with one of the pillars of prayer.
“What do humans want, so that the intention of praying is to make fun of this,” wrote the account.
Judging from the video, the woman who was born in Jakarta 35 years ago also doesn’t appear to be in a state of wanting to pray. At that time he was wearing a yellow shirt, not wearing a mukena, which is what a woman usually does when she is about to pray.
