Due to works they will leave San Diego de la Unión without electricity. When will it be?

San Diego de la Union, Guanajuato.- Part of the municipal seat and some communities belonging to the municipality of San Diego de la Union will be left without electricity this weekend, due to maintenance work to be carried out by the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) in the substation that feeds San Diego Penuelas.

Through the municipal government, the CFE announced that in some towns in the San Juan capital towards Highway 57 there will not be 100 percent electrical service, because due to the work that will be carried out there will be low or no voltage in the area, so they ask citizens to take the relevant precautions.

The CFE announced that some towns from San Juan to Highway 57 will not have electricity due to maintenance work.

Mayor Juan Carlos Castillo clarified, through a video, that these works do not correspond to the municipal government, so they cannot do anything to avoid the lack or low intensity of electrical energy, and all that remains is to wait for the CFE to conclude with their jobs.

It should be noted that the municipality of San Diego de la Unión receives electricity supply from two substations, so those who receive service from the Dolores Hidalgo substation will not have service suspension.
