The studios “MGM”, “Eon Productions” and “Universal” hoped to show the film in November, but due to unpredictable box office revenues, including the closure of many cinemas in major potential outlets, it was decided to change the screening time. The film’s producers Barbara Brokoli and Michael Wilson say in a statement that they are aware of the disappointment of the fans, but want the film to be available to viewers all over the world, so it will be shown in cinemas next year.

This announcement is another blow to cinema owners who urgently need box office hits to drive financial recovery. It is now clear that Hollywood studios do not plan to screen high-budget films until at least Christmas, when the superhero film “Wonder Woman 1984” is scheduled to premiere.

At the beginning of the year, “No Time To Die” became the first major blockbuster in Hollywood to be affected by the Covid-19 crisis, when its premiere was postponed from March 31 this year to November. “No Time To Die” will be the last film in which the legendary agent 007 will be played Daniel Craig. The film also features Rami Malek, Naomi Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christopher Waltz, Ralph Fains, Ana de Armas, Lashan Lynch, as well as French actress Lea Sedu Bond as a girl. The film is directed by Kerry Fukunaga, and the title song is performed by American singer Billy Ailis.
