Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in our community and due to the burden our healthcare system is currently experiencing, OCPS will move to full e-learning starting Wednesday, January 6, 2021, through Friday, January 15, 2021. OCPS will not participate in any athletic activity or competition during this time. We believe that these two measures will provide a safer environment for our students and employees during the current increase.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 5, 2021, will be a student holiday and a teacher workday. This time will allow staff to resolve any additional logistical challenges. All personnel are required to report to work on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at their normally scheduled time.
We will continue to review our community broadcast daily. Any change in our learning modality will be communicated to you as soon as possible and as the data allows. Thank you.
