Due to storm in the US, vaccination of teachers is delayed until January 12

MORELIA, Mich., January 5, 2022.- Although it had been announced that this Saturday would begin the application of the booster for the Covid 19 vaccine to teachers in different states, this was postponed.

This was indicated by the head of the Ministry of Education in Michoacán (SEE), Yarabí Ávila González, through his social networks this Wednesday afternoon.

The official indicated that the arrival of 2.7 million vaccines was planned in two batches, to start the application on Saturday, but this will not be possible due to weather conditions.

It states that due to the winter storm that is registered in the United States, the arrival of Moderna’s biological will be until Saturday, so the application will be delayed, the new dates being January 12 to 15.
