Due to poor runway visibility brought about by inclement weather, the Manila International Airport Authority announced that some flights have been diverted to other airports. As of 8:20 PM on April 13, 2023, several Philippine Airlines flights were diverted, including 2P2046 Caticlan-Manila, 2P2144 Iloilo-Manila, 2P2966 Busuanga-Manila, 2P2920 Daraga-Manila, PR113 Los Angeles-Manila, and 2P2044 Caticlan-Manila. Several Cebu Pacific flights were also diverted, including 5J854 and 5J858 from Zamboanga-Manila, 5J888 from Cotabato-Manila, 5J2002 from Caticlan-Manila, DG6840 from Siargao-Manila, and DG6196 from Daraga-Manila. Other flights by Philippines Air Asia, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and Turkish Airlines were also rerouted. The Manila International Airport Authority also stated that some scheduled flights may be disrupted and advised passengers to contact their airline for more information. It assured the public that it was working with the airlines to mitigate the impact on airport operations to ensure passenger safety. Recently, Tropical Depression Amang weakened into a low pressure area, but Metro Manila and other parts of the country remain rainy.
