NASA said the medical issue in question was not a medical emergency and was not related to Covid-19.
However, the US space agency has refused to elaborate on what health problems or say which astronauts were involved.
“The team will continue to monitor crew health as they evaluate potential launch opportunities later in the week,” the statement said NASA, quoted from Futurism, Wednesday (11/3/2021).
The mission, dubbed Crew-3, was originally scheduled for Sunday (31/10) but was postponed to Wednesday (3/11) due to unfavorable weather conditions. Now the launch has been rescheduled for Saturday night
According to a journalist’s joke space CBS William Harwood’s delay was the first for a piloted mission due to medical problems since the STS-36 space shuttle flight in 1990 when commander John Creighton fell ill before launch.
