Due to climate activists, the woman is not going to the hospital in London with her mother

The demonstrations were organized by the Insulate Britain movement, which has been holding similar protests for four weeks.

Insulate Britain is urging the government to provide decent jobs for hundreds of thousands of people to be able to insulate the most low-carbon homes. The movement wants 29 million homes to be insulated by 2030.

An unpleasant incident broke out in the Blackpool tunnel, where due to protests a woman was unable to get to the hospital, where her mother was taken by ambulance, reports the LBC radio station.

“She’s in an ambulance, she’s going to a hospital in Canterbury, do you think I’m stupid? (..) I have to go to the hospital, please miss me. It’s not normal (..) How can you be so selfish?” said the woman. The protesters spoke to him calmly, but refused to miss.

Meanwhile, drivers on the Wandsworth Bridge were trying to drive the activists out of the way so that an ambulance could pass, according to a video shared by TalkRadio radio.

Insulate Britain activists have previously blocked the M25 bypass and the M4 motorway in London, as well as the port of Dover.

But the government last week banned Insulate Britain activists from obstructing traffic and access to motorways and major A-roads in and around London.

Anyone who violates this prohibition faces imprisonment or a fine.
