This year has seen the departure of the artist, Aida Abdel Aziz, at the age of 92, after a long struggle with the disease, as she suffered from Alzheimer’s disease in her last years.

The Egyptian theater lost one of its most important symbols this year, the director Jalal Al-Sharkawy, who died due to the Corona virus infection, announced by his daughter, Abeer Al-Sharkawy.
The late director presented the play ‘The School of Rioters’ which is his most important work ever, and he also had other works, including ‘The Constitution of Our Masters’ and ‘Atiyah the Terrorist’.

Halawa was the subject of more than one gossip about his departure, to the point that it prompted him to go live with his daughter to deny everything, but he was very tired, and eventually the virus overtook him.
This year witnessed the departure of the artist, Samir Sabry, after suffering from heart disease, as he entered the hospital and stayed there for a long time to perform complex surgery, but did not succumb to the disease, and was keen to record the episodes of his radio show inside the hospital, as he communicated with everyone.
