Düdelsheim carnivalists make a carnival film

The carnival mascot Tutti has disappeared!

No carnival parades, no ceremonial meetings: the fools of the carnival department “Dilsemer Windmächer” from Düdelsheim look sadly at pictures of bygone days. A big, joint toast this year is impossible due to Corona – but they have found an alternative: A self-made film for the 5th season.

The film has been online since Friday

Well, where is he? Carnival mascot Tutti has disappeared! But just cut off like that, the straw doll can’t be. Or does it? In the 26-minute film “Dilsemer Windmächer” your mascot Tutti comes to life and experiences adventures in Düdelsheim.

Actually the carnivalists only wanted to shoot a few skits, but then Jan Richter, Nils Telle and Katja Burster wrote an entire script. The film was shot at 20 locations. There were no big scenes in groups, because those involved always paid attention to distance and hygiene.

“Corona can’t stop us. We definitely do carnival in some way. That’s a bit of a concern for the people who have supported us for years. We just wanted to give that back with the film,” explains Nils Telle , Vice President of the “Dilsemer Windmächer”. The film has been online on platforms such as YouTube and Facebook.
