The Duchess of Sussex, Megan Markle, was finally seen without the expensive wedding ring that her husband, Prince Harry, gave her, but the reason behind this has nothing to do with any problems between the spouses.
And while Markle was seen enjoying lunch with her friends Cady Lee and Cleo Wade, her dazzling three-diamond ring was replaced with a gold ring on her finger.
And while Meghan’s not wearing a wedding ring has sparked speculation about her marriage, a source told Big 6 that the diamond ring is undergoing maintenance.
Harry had presented his then-fiancée, Megan, with an expensive engagement ring, when he proposed her hand in marriage in November 2017.
The custom design featured a diamond originally from Botswana – the country they visited together early in their relationship – and two smaller diamonds from the collection of Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana. Harry explained that he made the ring with the help of jewelers at Cleave and Company and Markle described the ring as incredible.
Recently, the couple has been plagued by rumors that their marriage is faltering and that they are separating for some time. However, an informed source close to the couple – who married in May 2018 – confirmed that any speculation of separation is false.
