The British prins Harry (38) has, to put it mildly, not spared the secrets in his recent autobiography “Spare”. There he lifts the veil on life as a royal and shares even the smallest details.
Ahead of the big book launch, the prince embarked on a promotional tour and appeared for a number of interviews. During these days, however, his wife was not, Duchess Meghan (41)present.
Ridiculed: “But mom!”
The Duke and Duchess are often seen together, but since Christmas, only Harry has appeared in connection with the book release.
Opposite The Telegraph says a source that Meghan would probably not take the same approach as Prince Harry, but that she “will always support his personal project”.
Now, however, it is the Duchess’s choice to stay out of the limelight that is receiving criticism.
Journalist and royal author Angela Levin tells GB News that Meghan has “thrown him to the lions”, questioning her decision to let him go alone.
Foretells a new turn
– Where is Meghan? People have asked where she was and why she has not been present. She has left Harry all alone, she says.
Levin believes Meghan is struggling to stay out of the limelight.
– The book makes him look so bad that I think it was a big mistake on her part not to help him. Meghan simply threw Harry to the lions.
Drank tequila before book launch
According to the publisher, Penguin Random House, “Spare” is the fastest-selling non-fiction book ever in the UK since registrations began in 1998.
The autobiography was to be found on the bookshelves from 10 January. The prince has mentioned everything from, among other things physical altercations with his brotherPrince William (40) to frostbite on the penis after an expedition with Norwegian Inge Solheim.
Demand an apology
In addition, the 38-year-old has also revealed that the book was initially supposed to contain even more details. Opposite the British newspaper The Telegraph told Harry that “Spare” originally consisted of 800 pages – twice as many as it now has.
