Duchess Kate doesn’t need a large camera team to reach people. She spreads her message simply by taking a selfie.

Duchess Kate (39) is once again wonderfully down-to-earth in her latest video: with a bobble knitted hat and quilted jacket, the make-up subtle. Has been recorded the short clip apparently from the triple mother herself via selfie function on the grounds of their property at Anm Hall in Norfolk. Her look may be casual, but her appeal is all the more haunting.

It is addressed to all parents in the country

On the occasion of the upcoming Children’s Mental Health Week, the Duchess of Cambridge reminds that that week is not just about the well-being of the children. “Although this is Childrens Mental Health Week, there has never been a more important time to talk about the well-being and mental health of parents,” says the 39-year-old, facing the camera. “This is a very challenging time for all of us, so please take care of yourself,” she said directly to all mothers and fathers in the country.

The wife of Prince William (38) also explains that this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week is about “finding creative ways to share your thoughts, ideas and feelings”. She therefore urges all parents to look for such opportunities or to find someone with whom one can talk openly about one’s feelings. The Duchess’s message is clear: “We really have to be the best versions of ourselves for the children in our care.”
