Born from the collaboration between two excellences of the Emilia-Romagna Motor Valley, the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini is a motorcycle made in a limited and numbered edition, only 630 specimens intended for the most demanding motorcyclists and collectors from all over the world. Great personality, naked sport road behavior and a unique design reminiscent of numerous and important international awards such as the Red Dot Award and the Good Design Award. New Diavel 1260 Lamborghini: how it’s made

The new Diavel 1260 Lamborghini takes shape from a platform of values ​​shared by the two companies: sportiness, attention to design and obsessive attention to detail. Starting from the Diavel 1260 S, the Ducati designers were inspired by one of the most iconic models of the Sant’Agata Bolognese company, the Lamborghini Siàn FKP 37. The design concepts of the Siàn FKP 37 have been translated to the motorcycle world, thus allowing to redesign the elements that most characterize the Diavel. Forged wheels, light and with a new design that explicitly recall those of the car, air intakes and radiator covers made of carbon fiber. The livery is an expression of the joint work of the two style centers. The paints are the same used for the Siàn FKP 37, the bodywork exhibits the “Gea Green” color, while the frame, the undertray and the forged rims feature the “Electrum Gold” color with the classic Ducati red recalled in the color of the Brembo brake calipers. The livery features the number 63, a tribute to the founding year of the Sant’Agata Bolognese company in 1963. A number that multiplied by ten explains the 630 numbered copies that Ducati will produce. The details that have always distinguished Lamborghini design, ie the hexagon and the “Y” style, are re-proposed in this special version of the Diavel in the shape of the exhaust and in the aesthetic details applied to the saddle. All the details of the bike are made of carbon, not only the radiator cover and the air intakes, also the silencer cover, the tip, the central tank cover, the saddle cover, the mudguards, the dashboard cover and the projector bezel.

New Diavel 1260 Lamborghini: the characteristics

The new Diavel 1260 Lamborghini is equipped with the 1262 cc Ducati Testastretta Dvt engine equipped with a phase variator. The engine is Euro 5 homologated and is capable of developing a power of 162 Hp at 9,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 129 Nm at 7,500 rpm with a flat torque curve right from the medium-low revs. Trellis frame in exposed steel tubes, 240/45 mm wide rear tire, 120/70 front, single-sided aluminum swingarm, fully adjustable Öhlins suspension front and rear. Brembo brakes with 320mm front discs, M50 monobloc calipers and 265mm rear disc. The dry weight stops at 220 kg. The electronics are entrusted to a Bosch six-axis Imu platform capable of instantly detecting the speed and acceleration of the bike in space, while allowing the various control devices to operate on the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini. The electronic package includes: Bosch Abs Cornering Evo, Ducati Traction Control Evo, Ducati Wheelie Control Evo, Ducati Power Launch Evo and Cruise Control. Tft color display.
