Success Ducati world champion constructor MotoGP 2020 as well as ending the hegemony of Honda and Yamaha which for a dozen years gave rise to the title duopoly.
Ducati managed to ensure the world title in the manufacturing sector after MotoGP Portugal 2020, the final series of the season, at Portimao, Sunday (23/11/2020) evening WIB. There is Jack Miller (Pramac Ducati) who managed to finish in second place.
A total of 221 points were collected by Ducati to top the constructors’ standings, ahead of Yamaha (204) and Suzuki (202). Ducati at the same time thwart Suzuki, the world champion riders and team, complete Triple Crown.

For Ducati, this is the second constructors’ world title in the Grand Prix motorbike racing event. Prior to this, the title was successfully embraced by Ducati in 2007 through the action of the rider who was also the champion, Casey Stoner.

In the 500cc / MotoGP class itself, Honda already has 25 constructors’ world titles which are the most titles. While Yamaha has collected 14 titles, only lost to Honda and MV Agusta (16).
After that, the constructors’ world title in the 500cc / MotoGP class has also been won by Suzuki, Gilera four times, Norton and Ducati twice each, and once by AJS.
