A man in his 50s has been charged with the murder of a woman in Dublin. The woman, in her 40s, was pronounced dead after a house fire in Clontarf. The man was arrested by gardai in relation to the fatal fire and has now been charged with the woman’s murder. The Irish Mirror reports that the man appeared in court on Saturday and was remanded in custody until a hearing on 12 February.
