The Dubai Police General Command, represented by the Positive Spirit Initiative and the Lehbab Police Station, concluded the “Our Summer is Fun and Happiness” festival in the happiness tent, which it organized for a full month, with the aim of strengthening efforts to improve the quality of life and consolidate the spirit of social harmony.
The Director of the General Department of Community Happiness, Chairman of the Positive Spirit Initiative Committee, Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, confirmed that the festival succeeded in attracting 1,023 people, representing 12 nationalities, who flocked to participate in 16 various competitions, 14 lectures and workshops, and enjoyed recreational and educational trips, noting that the Positive Spirit Initiative , eager to promote its efforts in the community.
For his part, Acting Director of Lehbab Police Station, Colonel Saeed Ali Al-Malai, said that the festival strengthens efforts to achieve the strategic direction of the Dubai Police in making society happy and a safe city.
The festival included a variety of topics, including volunteering, cyberbullying, sign language, first aid, fire safety, awareness of the 901 call center services for non-emergency cases, and the emergency number 999, in addition to electronic extortion and reporting of electronic crimes via the e-Crime platform, and traffic safety.
