W Motors, which is famous for building sports cars such as the Lykan HyperSport and Fenyr SuperSport, boasted a new model on its website, which was created specifically for the needs of the Dubai police.
The rugged SUV, which the manufacturer calls the Ghiath Smart Patrol, is described as “the most advanced safety vehicle in the world.” Although the company does not mention any technical details or parameters, it is still quite clear that the basis of the new special became the sixth-generation Nissan Patrol.

Looking at the exterior, the new Ghiath Smart Patrol impresses with its robust shapes, indicated by the front frame, distinctive LED headlights, countless warning lights (built into the side of the roof racks, for example), specific wheel discs or ubiquitous cameras.
A look into the cab then only confirms the aforementioned relationship with the Nissan Patrol, from which the car borrowed, for example, a steering wheel, an all-wheel drive control system or ventilation control. Nevertheless, the technicians from W Motors also did a good job here.
A digital instrument panel appeared in the instrument cluster, a large vertically oriented infotainment display dominates the center of the dashboard, new controls in the center console and several external cameras in front of the front passenger.

After all, it is already clear from the exterior images that the cameras are located next to the lights, for example. There is a special retractable camera in the roof with 360 ° coverage around the car. For an even better overview, however, the car should also include a drone designed specifically for security and rescue services.
The front of the cabin is then separated from the rear by a partition, behind which we can see a pair of plastic seats (for easier maintenance), a system of seat belts ready to easily secure the transported suspect or barred windows.
Additional police equipment is likely to be stacked in the spacious luggage compartment, while there could be a good engine under the hood. The Nissan Patrol can also be equipped with a 5.6-liter V8 petrol engine, which will offer up to 319 kW (434 hp) in the Nismo version. Power is then transmitted to all wheels via a seven-speed automatic.

The new Ghiath Smart Patrol is the first car created by W Motors in the Special Project Division to offer solutions focused on security, defense and smart technology. In addition, it will be the first car to be manufactured at the Dubai Silicon Oasis plant in the UAE.
In addition, W Motors boasted that Ghiath Smart Patrol is part of a broader security and mobility program being developed in collaboration with the Dubai Police. The fleet of Ghiath vehicles should be expanded in the future by Ghiath Drone Edition, SWAT vehicles, rescue vehicles, electric cars, e-bikes and other machines.
