On this occasion, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief, confirmed the readiness of the Dubai Police General Command to welcome Eid Al Fitr by intensifying patrols on the internal and external roads of the emirate, and in markets, commercial areas and crowded places.
He called on citizens, residents and visitors to follow the regulations and instructions that Dubai Police and its partners are keen to disseminate in all places and times, and through all media outlets for road users and beachgoers during the Eid holiday.
He also called on road users and drivers to exercise caution while driving, to avoid traffic accidents, and to avoid dangerous violations, such as excessive speed, reckless driving, and overtaking from the shoulder of the road, for the sake of a Eid free of traffic accidents, especially dangerous ones. Expressing his wishes to everyone to be happy and have a happy holiday.
