Dubai, September 24 / WAM / Dubai Police discussed ways and opportunities to enhance cooperation with Etisalat from e&, and a number of topics of common interest were discussed.

For his part, His Excellency Masoud Mohammed Sharif stressed the keenness of Etisalat from e& to build and strengthen the bonds of cooperation with various local government agencies, and to provide a distinguished partnership in the areas of joint work to develop and strengthen the partnership relationship in various fields in order to achieve the strategic goals of both parties.
His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri accompanied the guest delegation to the management of the Command and Control Center in the General Directorate of Operations, during which he was briefed on the work system in the center, in addition to the latest services and initiatives that enhance security and safety in the emirate, in addition to being briefed on the center’s most prominent equipment and modern additions to it. Such as the “3D map and patrol management and control system” and its distribution on the ground in order to achieve the goal of Dubai Police in responding quickly to reports and distress calls, and the techniques, tools and means that support rapid response to reports and calls at any time.

Colonel Arif Bishouh, Director of the Crime Reduction Department at the General Department of Criminal Investigations and Investigations, gave an overview of the “Housing Security” program, which is one of the community police initiatives aimed at enhancing safety in residential neighborhoods. Dubai Police aims to turn it into a smart service in cooperation with partners by providing it. Captain Engineer Mohammed Omar, Director of the Drone Systems Center, presented to the guest delegation the “Drone Box” system, which is a platform for launching automated drones in the emirate, which aims to reduce the rate of response time to emergency situations, in addition to contributing to the detection of crime. Dubai Police will be one of the first police agencies in the world to implement the drone box system as a responder to criminal and traffic reports through drone box stations.
