The market capital of the Dubai Financial Market rose from 619.9 billion dirhams in the day before yesterday’s session to 624.8 billion dirhams, while the market capital of the Abu Dhabi Securities Market reached about 2.77 trillion dirhams.
The Dubai General Market Index rose by 1.06%, or the equivalent of 37.51 points, which is the largest daily rise since last April 12, to close at 3575.56 points, achieving its highest level since last May 10.
The FTSE index, the Abu Dhabi General Market, “Fadji”, closed at the level of 9714.4 points, while the Abu Dhabi Market Index, “Fadex 15”, reached the level of 9,520.14 points.
Local stocks attracted liquidity of about 1.7 billion dirhams, distributed by 1.12 billion dirhams in the Abu Dhabi market and 565.1 million dirhams in the Dubai market, while about 722.4 million shares were traded through the implementation of more than 24.2 thousand deals.
The performance of the Dubai market was strengthened by the rise in the shares of “Dewa” by 1.6%, “Dubai Islamic” by 1.1%, “Emaar Properties” by 0.7%, “Emirates NBD” by 0.36%, “Dubai Financial Market” by 2.7%, “Dubai Investments” by 0.8% and “ Empower 2.3%, Emaar Development 0.55%, Air Arabia 0.9%, Aramex 1.23% and Salik 0.66%.
And “Ajman Bank” acquired the largest share of the total trading, attracting about 137.5 million dirhams, followed by “Deyaar” with a liquidity of 85.6 million dirhams, then “Dewa” and “Emaar Properties” with about 54.8 million dirhams and 50.3 million dirhams, respectively.
In the Abu Dhabi market, “ADNOC Gas” rose 1.88%, “Americana” 1.28%, “Agthia” 1.25%, and “ADNOC Distribution” 0.23%, and “International Holding” leads the activity, attracting liquidity of more than 254 million dirhams, to close unchanged at the level of 395. dirhams.
ADNOC Gas came second in the list of the most active, after attracting liquidity of about 127 million dirhams.
