DUBAI, 8th March, 2020 (WAM) — The Department of Finance in the Government of Dubai has officially launched the integrated training program, Compliance, which is concerned with awareness of corporate tax in the country, which will be implemented on the first of next June.
The program is the first of its kind in the country, due to its reliance on interactive participation with the beneficiaries, in addition to presenting many realistic examples related to the corporate environment and various economic sectors, in cooperation with the Dubai Chamber, the strategic partner of the program, and KPMG, the knowledge partner. for the program.
Abdulaziz Al-Mulla, Executive Director and Head of the Tax Affairs Office at the Department of Finance, explained that the compliance program aims to raise the level of companies’ compliance with tax requirements once the system enters into force in the middle of this year, while making sure to provide an interactive professional program that includes a limited number of beneficiaries in each workshop and corresponds to With the current needs of companies and businesses to become eligible and ready to deal with the new tax.
It is expected that the first phase of the compliance program will be held at the headquarters of the Dubai Chamber and will be provided by specialists from the “KPMG” consulting company. Participants in the program will receive professional certificates issued by the Department of Finance.
