In a speech he delivered at the opening ceremony, Ahmed Mahboob Musabih said: “The activities organized by Dubai Customs during the UAE Innovation Month come out of the department’s keenness to contribute to strengthening the position of the UAE as a global center for innovation and to support the transition to an advanced stage in developing qualitative ideas and innovations that contribute Effectively in developing the economy and protecting society.
He explained that the department attaches great importance to innovation in its efforts to develop customs work, as the Dubai Customs Strategic Plan 2021-2026 identified innovation among its main principles to ensure the efficiency of customs services and achieve its vision of being the leading customs administration in the world supporting legitimate trade.
