DUBAI, July 30, 2020 / WAM / The Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai, “Dubai Culture”, announced the sessions of its “Schools of Life” project, which will last until March 2024; It offers visitors to Dubai public libraries during next August a program rich in various cultural and entertainment experiences that enable them to explore the advantages and hidden treasures of travel, develop their skills, discover their talents and expand their various knowledge.
Within the “Schools of Life” program, the pioneers of Al-Safa Library for Art and Design will be able to discover the history and wonders of architecture that characterize the pyramids in Egypt, through the workshop “Uncovering the Wonders of Ancient Egypt … the Pyramids”, and they will learn about the importance of travel and its positive effects on their lives, as well as workshops Interactive work, including “Designing Special Postage Stamps”, which reveals to them the methods of Emirates Post’s work in designing and issuing stamps.
The “Schools of Life” shed light on the arts of literature, narration techniques, and the creation of fictional stories, through the “Write the Story of Your Own Adventures” workshop, while, through the “Souvenir Sculptures” workshop, they will learn the secrets of the art of sculpting and shaping clay.
The Mankhool Public Library will host 5 inspiring workshops, including the “Flags Symbol” workshop, to learn about the details of the country’s flag, its colors, and the different meanings it indicates, and the “Future Shapes: Museum of the Future” workshop, while in the Al Twar Public Library, the history of the “Taj” will be discovered. Mahal in India, while visitors to the Hatta Public Library will work on making special covers and stamps for passports, capable of expressing their exceptional memories and experiences.
