Dubai Culture and Arts Authority Participation in Arabian Travel Market 2023 for Cultural Tourism Boost

The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) is participating in the activities of the “Arabian Travel Market 2023”, which will be organized from the first to the fourth of next May at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The authority announced that the participation stems from the importance of the event, which is an important platform for promoting Dubai’s prominent historical landmarks, which supports the efforts of “Dubai Culture” aimed at stimulating cultural tourism in the emirate, introducing local heritage and enhancing its presence on the international map, which contributes to highlighting the civilized face. For the Emirate, and consolidating its position as a global center for culture, an incubator for creativity, and a meeting place for talents.

Through its pavilion in the Arabian Travel Market, Dubai Culture will highlight a group of cultural and tourist attractions that it manages, including the Shindagha Museum, the largest heritage museum in the Emirates, using innovative visual and creative scenes that highlight the capabilities and components of the museum, which consists of 22 pavilions. Distributed in more than 80 houses, designed in accordance with international standards to provide a group of unique cultural experiences, enabling visitors to learn about the history and heritage of Dubai, and the traditional lifestyles that prevailed in it from the mid-19th century until the seventies of the last century, in addition to exploring the elements of heritage and local culture in all possible ways. Its aesthetics and originality, through the museum’s collection and exhibits that vary between old photographs, video clips, coins, jewelry, stamps, documents, and others.

Dubai Culture also organizes an art exhibition in its pavilion that highlights the richness and uniqueness of the local creative scene, featuring a group of well-known Emirati artists and creators on the scene, including: Dr. Najat Makki, Ammar Al-Attar, Asmaa Balhamar, and others. The exhibition is organized with the aim of empowering local talents, introducing their achievements, and supporting the cultural and creative industries in Dubai.
