Dubai Civil Defense Officer Saves 24 Lives in Heroic Act

Dubai – First Corporal Ghadeer Hamood Al Kaabi, who works in the Dubai Civil Defense Directorate General, who heroically saved the lives of 24 people, including women and children, from a house that caught fire has become a hero. Kaabi happened to see the sight while passing through an area. Two cars, a tent and a house are on fire. The fire spread rapidly due to high temperatures. He noticed smoke coming from the house but there was no movement or reaction from the occupants. The main gate was closed. He observed that no one was coming out.

So, wasting no time to report to the operation room, he rushed inside, ignoring the fire and smoke. He immediately took steps to safely evacuate the occupants, including women and children, and kept them away from the fire and smoke. He also administered first aid to one of the injured persons until the Civil Defense teams arrived. Kaabi said this activity is part of the job as a member of the General Directorate of Civil Defence. He thanked the Dubai Police for this recognition. He added that the Civil Defense always asks its personnel to be ready to respond to emergency situations.

He also requested to maintain a high level of preparedness to deal with fires and emergencies. Al Mansoori thanked First Corporal Al Kaabi for his quick response to enter the house full of fire and smoke and save the lives and property of the occupants. His high level of preparedness and efficiency in saving lives is said to demonstrate the sincerity of his work.
