Dubai 60ft Sailing Race Postponed

The Dubai International Marine Sports Club decided to postpone the date of the Dubai 60-foot Local Sailing Race (the second round of the Dubai Championship 2023-2024), which was scheduled to start on the beaches of Danat Al Dunya, Dubai, on Sunday, to a new date to be determined later.
Mohammed Saif Al Marri, Director of the Sports Affairs Department at the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, said that the decision came in order to ensure the security and safety of the participants, due to the weather conditions, stressing that the club will soon determine the proposed new date for organizing the upcoming race, which is considered one of three races for this category.
At the end of last October, the Dubai International Marine Sports Club successfully organized the first round race, which witnessed the participation of 80 ships. The victory went to the crew of ship No. 25 “Zelzal”, led by Nokhatha Marwan Al Marzouqi.
