For the Albanian Lipa it is a question of reunification with ESNS. She played one of her first big foreign shows there in 2016, after which she made it all over the world. ,,Eurosonic was the first festival with my band. It was a huge step forward in my career,” Lipa said later. “I seem to have grown a lot as an artist and it all started more or less in Groningen.”
At the next ESNS on January 21, she will be interviewed together with her father and manager Dukagjin Lipa. Together they are the founders of the acclaimed Sunny Hill Festival in Kosovo, which was also organized in Albania last year. The festival is one of the largest in the region, attracting more than 140,000 music fans.
