DSV states that it first and foremost wants to automate as much as possible. “We actually want to take as much repetitive work off the hands of the employees as possible. It is not just about the activities in the warehouse, but also about the administration, for example.” The intention is to work more efficiently and energy-efficiently. “We also want to make the job more fun. It is very important to us that we are a good employer and that people enjoy working here,” says Van der Maas. DSV is looking for additional people with very different profiles. “We recruit operational staff as well as technicians, engineers and accountants.”
