Florian Silbereisen as DSDS jury faced a tricky task on Saturday evening: he had to judge the appearance of Paulina Wagner, who sang a Helene Fischer hit – and got excited about it.

Flew a few weeks ago Xavier Naidoo (48) after a scandal from the DSDS-Jury. The replacement promptly followed: Florian Silbereisen (38) is now sitting in his armchair. The perfect choice, Poptitan thought Dieter Bohlen (66), after all, half of this year’s candidates sing Schlager. Who could help them better than the hit moderator and singer? In the show last Saturday evening (March 28th) Florian Silbereisen was once again brought into a situation that would have been uncomfortable for most, but not a problem for the TV professional. Candidate Paulina Wagner (22) sang “Our Day”, a hit by Silbereisen’s ex Helene Fischer (35) – and the judge found honest words about the performance.

“Schlager is not as easy as you think,” Florian Silbereisen began carefully. “If you had sung something from my hit band ‘Klubbb3’, it would have been easier, even I could do it well,” he joked. “‘Our day’, I know this song by heart. I know every sob Helene makes.” He then had all the beautiful memories attached to this song in front of his eyes, he enthused.
Already in the past week he called Helene “the most perfect” and now put more fuel. “When you compare yourself to the most perfect, it’s not that easy.” Paulina’s appearance could not convince the jury. Dieter Bohlen said: “Florian told a lot but said little. When Helene goes out and sings this song … it outshines everything.” The jury boss found that Paulina could not convey the attitude to life that the hit queen radiates in her hit. But the candidate is still at the very beginning of her career. The finale is already certain to her.
