The timely intervention of members of the El Salvador Fire Department and Civil Protection prevented a fire generated in dry brush from getting out of control in the municipality of Ciudad Delgado, San Salvador, and damaging private property in that place.

The operational tactical team worked on Pino Street in Barranquilla, in the city of Delgado.

Due to the rugged terrain, firefighters and Civil Protection used tools and backpack bombs to control the situation. They even made a short fire breach to prevent its spread.

The authorities call on the general population to avoid burning garbage and open fires, because this practice can generate large fires.
