Drunk on the smartphone: a strange patent aims to protect cell phone users

Once the smartphone has been activated, the feature goes a step further. Because then the operation is actually simplified. Fonts or individual controls could be enlarged to make things easier for users. In the end, it is up to the sober user to activate the feature before a party evening and to ensure that the precautionary measures are safe enough.

The patent comes from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer “Gree Electronics”. A name that is not only quite unknown in this country. The company is also making a small contribution to the mobile phone market in China. It is therefore unlikely that we will see a copy of the smartphones with “Drunk Mode” in this country. However, should the feature be implemented successfully, other smartphone manufacturers could also become aware of it and offer their own solutions.
