Drunk motorist drives car in ditch with son in the back | Inland

That happened around 11 a.m. at the Dinteloord exit. The alarmed police found the car upside down in the ditch, but the 37-year-old man from Bergen op Zoom and his son had already gotten out of the car thanks to the help of bystanders.

Both seemed unharmed, according to the police, but were taken to hospital for security.

A breathalyzer showed that the man had been drinking. A blood sample taken is sent to the NFI. The man will be heard by the police at a later date. He was also banned from driving for 24 hours.
