A drunk wrecked his car between Wolfegg and Vogt. The man was slightly injured in the accident on Friday evening, the police said. The 42-year-old drove towards Vogt around 10.30 p.m. and came off the road at Schachenmühle, presumably because he was driving too fast and was drunk. His car overturned several times and stopped in a meadow.
Alcohol test shows clear result
According to the police, an alcohol test showed that the man had 1.7 per mille of alcohol in his blood. Initially, the officials assumed that several passengers could have been sitting in the car at the time of the accident and searched the area around the accident site with the help of a helicopter.
Maybe even drove without a license
Through further questioning, it was ultimately possible to determine that the driver was alone in the car after all. The search action was canceled. The police have yet to determine whether the driver even has a driver’s license. The case is brought to the public prosecutor’s office. The 42-year-old’s car was totaled.
